An update from us
Hi Palateable family,
We’ve been monitoring the fast evolving developments relating to the Coronavirus, as most of you have. The safety and well being of our customers is our top priority, along with making delicious, healthy food that you guys all enjoy and love.
At Palateable, we practice all food safety rules and regulations and often times exceed them. We work from a health department inspected commercial kitchen. We clean, sanitize and we are taking extra precautions, sanitizing our work station every hour as health department guidelines recommends and taking the extra steps to prevent not only cross contamination but assuring that our product is prepared with love and respect. We use extra gloves, during preparation and at delivery to avoid direct contact.
We even offer a new contactless delivery option, where we will leave your food at your doorstep, text or call you that it’s arrived at your door and leave without any direct person to person contact.
As far as the safety of our team, as a recently launched food tech startup, we primarily run our business from our home office and only going to our commercial kitchen as needed to prevent community spread.
The situation in the US, California and Los Angeles is quickly evolving, and we will continue to monitor it closely and follow the guidance of the @who and the @cdcgov . If anything changes further here at Palateable, we will do our best to communicate it to you as quickly as possible.
Lastly, since we’re all staying in our homes for the next few weeks, please try to continue to support your neighbors and favorite local small businesses, like @tonispets for all of your dog walking needs, @hairlash_makeup for looking fabulous, @marugame_monzo, a handcrafted udon noddle house that has become our weekly family restaurant and @standingsbutchery where much of our meat comes from. And if anyone needs good home cooked, delicious and healthy meals delivered to you in the greater LA area, @palateable.la will be pleased to serve you.
Stay safe, stay healthy, wash your hands and happy eating!
